Mental Health Professional – Exciting Opportunity!

The Intensive Service for Recovery is a 24x7 service which provides an inclusive and collaborative support system to service users who are transitioning from Regional Forensic Psychiatry Services to the community.

About the Role: As a Mental Health Professional, you will work alongside clients to provide compassionate care, helping them on their journey to recovery. Your experience and understanding of mental health and addiction will be key as you collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored support plans.

Your clients are supported to establish and maintain community living safely, develop and facilitate wellness for future with particular emphasis on living, learning, working and relationships within community environment. You will empower clients to connect or reconnect with family/whanau/significant others. You will create goals to improve quality of life by achieving maximum independence. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessments, interventions, and care plans for clients
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of health professionals
  • Help clients achieve positive health outcomes through tailored treatment strategies
Who are we looking for? We’re seeking candidates with:
  • Relevant qualifications with Full Registration with ie. SWRB, Nursing Council, OTBNZ etc  
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills
  • Experience within a Mental health setting
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
