About the Role

In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee regional operations, providing strategic direction, team development, and strong business acumen. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Implementing a service model aligned with our values, ensuring quality care and meeting contract requirements.
• Manage a huge territory and high head count
• Driving financial sustainability, reporting on performance, and exploring growth opportunities within the region.
• Championing team development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting leaders within the region.
• Building strong relationships with local health sectors, ensuring we are a recognized and respected provider in the community.
• Upholding health and safety practices across the region, leading quality improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You Bring

• Strong financial management skills with a strategic mindset.
• Experience leading large teams with a high head count.
• Experience managing a large region.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching and staff development.
• Understanding of the Health Sector of Aotearoa
• Connections within Te Whatu Ora would be helpful
• The ability to foster positive external relationships and represent the services effectively within the community.
• A deep understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to culturally responsive care.
