Our client, a respected health and social service provider, is launching
Te Huinga Kōtuku—a newly funded and innovative service aimed at reducing gambling-related harm. This safe, supportive, and confidential initiative empowers individuals and their whānau to address problem gambling behaviours while fostering lasting change.
We are seeking experienced clinicians with at least 3 years of experience in problem gambling services or the broader mental health and addictions sector. Significant knowledge and experience in Matauranga Māori models of practice is essential to ensure culturally safe, meaningful care. Experience in one-on-one counselling and group facilitation will be highly regarded. As this is a new service, you’ll play a key role in its setup and growth—adaptability, initiative, and collaboration will be critical.
