About the Role

• Lead an 18-bed secure dementia care unit and a 27-bed rest home facility.
• Oversee a team of 30+ staff, including 2 Registered Nurses, Team Leaders, HCAs, and onsite kitchen and laundry staff.
• Build strong community relationships to increase occupancy and elevate the facility’s profile.
• Support the team with hands-on leadership, ensuring the highest care standards, reflected in the facility’s 4-year Ministry of Health certification.
• Foster collaboration with families, GPs, and external partners to achieve the best outcomes for residents.

The Ideal Candidate

• A Registered Nurse or someone with a strong clinical background and experience working closely with nurses.
• Proven leadership skills to inspire and manage a diverse team effectively.
• A proactive, relationship-driven approach to engage with the local community and strengthen the facility’s presence.
• Experience overseeing clinical and operational performance.
