Looking for a passionate Mental Health & Addictions Clinician to support rangitahi and their whanau alongside our fabulous team!
Are you passionate about supporting young people and their whānau to achieve better mental wellbeing and tackle alcohol and other drug issues?
Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an energised Mental Health & Addictions Clinician to join their supportive team. This permanent full-time role offers a competitive salary and is based in Central Auckland.
About the Role: - Work with a dedicated team and expand your horizons in a flexible workplace environment
- Join a small, cohesive team led by an experienced Service Manager with the aim of making a real difference
- Engage with purpose by connecting with rangatahi and their whānau to help them manage their own wellbeing and embrace positive change
About You: - Registered health professional with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (Counsellor, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or DAPAANZ)
- Relevant clinical knowledge and experience working with youth, Māori, and Pasifika people
- Energised health professional with a passion for supporting rangitahi and their whanau to set goals, navigate life challenges, and access support for their health and wellbeing
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to engage in reflective practice and build strong community relationships
- Experience in talking therapies and facilitating groups would be advantageous
- Hold a full NZ driver's license (required)
Required Qualifications: - Current registration with a professional body covered by HPCA 2003 Act, Social Work Registration, Nursing or Occupational Therapist
- Ideally experience working within the health sector, or you are a Social Work/Nursing/OT Graduate
- Full NZ driver license
