About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Occupational Therapist with expertise in
wheelchair and seating assessments to join a well-established team in Nelson. This team is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, with many members bringing over five years of dedicated service.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive wheelchair and seating assessments to enhance client mobility and independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding equipment use and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with professional standards.

About You - Qualifications: Registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in occupational therapy, with Level 2 competency in wheelchair and seating assessments or a strong desire to achieve this level.
- Skills: Excellent communication, assessment and problem-solving abilities.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable and passionate about improving client outcomes.
