About your Facility

Nestled in the stunning coastal region of Paihia, our 45-bed facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care across rest home, private hospital, palliative, and young disabled services. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for our residents while fostering a warm, supportive environment.
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Facility Manager to lead our team, ensuring the seamless operation of the facility and the highest standards of care and compliance.

Your Opportunity
This leadership role offers the chance to oversee all facets of facility operations, from clinical and staffing management to compliance and quality assurance. As Facility Manager, you will work closely with the leadership team to maintain a culture of excellence while driving initiatives that improve care delivery and operational outcomes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment.
  • Partner with the Clinical Nurse Manager to uphold clinical safety and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the wider community.
  • Manage staff rosters and resources to ensure care needs are consistently met.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and audit requirements, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Represent the facility within the local community and with external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a motivated and experienced professional with:
  • Proven leadership experience in aged care or other healthcare settinga.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • A clinical background (preferred but not essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in staff management, including rostering and performance development.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing residents’ lives and promoting a culture of care excellence.
The Team You’ll Lead
You’ll work alongside an experienced and supportive senior management group, including a Clinical Nurse Manager and Office Manager, to manage the facility’s day-to-day functions. The wider team includes a great roster of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who are committed to what they do!
