A community Addiction Service needs your leadership!

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead a dynamic organisation providing vital health and social services for those suffering by the negative impacts of addictions. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving high-quality service delivery, empowering teams, and supporting clients to achieve positive outcomes.
The Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring services meet client needs and align with organisational goals. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and foster relationships with key stakeholders to support the continued success of the centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Oversee operational planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Provide strategic leadership to align services with the organisation’s vision and values.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Proven leadership experience in health, social services, or a related sector. At least 2 years direct line management.
  • Qualifications and current registration with DAPAANZ
  • Strong understanding of operational management and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to motivate and support a team in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to cultural competency and working effectively with diverse communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and achieve financial goals.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in health, social work, or a related field is desirable.
