About the Role

Are you an experienced clinical leader who thrives on mentoring teams and improving community-based healthcare? This is your chance to step into a leadership role where you’ll guide and support clinical teams across Otago and Southland, ensuring high-quality care and compliance.

Location: Dunedin or Invercargill, with travel to areas such as Oamaru and Central Otago.
Schedule: Monday to Friday—no weekends!
Reporting to: Regional Manager, with strong clinical support.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead & mentor community-based clinical teams, ensuring performance and accountability.
  • Oversee clinical excellence through compliance, audits, training and continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders such as Te Whatu Ora & ACC.
  • Drive clinical governance to maintain high standards of care and reporting.
About You
  • A strong clinical leader with experience managing teams in a healthcare setting.
  • A leadership style that balances support with accountability and clear guidance.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • A relationship builder who can effectively engage with funders, referrers and teams.
  • Community nursing experience is a bonus but not essential.
