About the Role This is a dual-role position with a blend of
education and community nursing. Based in Gisborne, the role involves overseeing the hospice education portfolio for approximately
20 hours per week, ensuring the ongoing professional development of healthcare teams (though not necessarily delivering all education sessions directly). The remaining hours will be spent
working within the community team or wherever support is needed, providing symptom management, patient education, and whānau support.
What You Need to Succeed - A Registered Nurse with current APC, working rights and experience working in the community here in New Zealand.
- Experience and a passion for palliative and end-of-life care
- Experience in education, training, or mentoring in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate, team-focused approach
- Full, clean NZ driver’s license
