The OpportunityBased in Auckland, this role will see you working directly with individuals and families affected by family violence. Whether in the office, community, or safe housing environments, you will:

Support clients in crisis—ensuring safety, stability, and access to essential resources.
✔
Advocate and coordinate—connecting clients with legal, financial, housing, and social services.
✔
Collaborate with key partners—working alongside agencies, law enforcement, and support networks.
✔
Raise awareness & prevent harm—providing education and strategies to break the cycle of violence.
What You Bring We are looking for a professional with:
- Solid Family Violence Experience with or without a qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the family violence sector—understanding the dynamics of intimate partner violence and trauma-informed practice.
- Strong knowledge of social services—familiarity with local support networks and advocacy pathways.
- Outstanding communication & crisis intervention skills—with the ability to build trust and navigate sensitive situations.
- Resilience & adaptability—capable of working under pressure and handling complex cases.
- Competency in digital tools (Microsoft Office, case management systems).
- Availability for on-call support when required (compensated accordingly).
