The Opportunity
Based in Auckland, this role will see you working directly with individuals and families affected by family violence. Whether in the office, community, or safe housing environments, you will:

✔ Support clients in crisis—ensuring safety, stability, and access to essential resources.
✔ Advocate and coordinate—connecting clients with legal, financial, housing, and social services.
✔ Collaborate with key partners—working alongside agencies, law enforcement, and support networks.
✔ Raise awareness & prevent harm—providing education and strategies to break the cycle of violence.
What You Bring We are looking for a professional with:

• Solid Family Violence Experience with or without a qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the family violence sector—understanding the dynamics of intimate partner violence and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong knowledge of social services—familiarity with local support networks and advocacy pathways.
• Outstanding communication & crisis intervention skills—with the ability to build trust and navigate sensitive situations.
• Resilience & adaptability—capable of working under pressure and handling complex cases.
• Competency in digital tools (Microsoft Office, case management systems).
• Availability for on-call support when required (compensated accordingly).
