About the Role

Looking to step into a formal leadership role? If you have strong leadership experience in healthcare and want to take the next step in clinical management, this is your chance!

You'll be guiding and supporting clinical teams across Otago and Southland, ensuring high-quality care, compliance and professional growth within a structured leadership framework.

Location: Based in Dunedin or Invercargill, with travel to areas like Oamaru and Central Otago.
Schedule: Monday to Friday – no weekends!
Reporting to: Regional Manager, with strong clinical support.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead & mentor community-based clinical teams, ensuring performance and accountability.
• Oversee clinical excellence through compliance, audits, training, and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders such as Te Whatu Ora & ACC.
• Drive clinical governance to maintain high standards of care and reporting.

About You

• Current NZ Nursing Practicing Certificate and Registration.
• Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting – formal management experience is not essential.
• A supportive leadership style with the ability to hold teams accountable.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make informed decisions.
• Excellent relationship-building skills to engage with funders, referrers, and teams.
• Community nursing experience is a bonus but not required.
